One day in August of 2014, a few of us had the crazy idea to eat every sandwich in the Wikipedia List of Sandwiches and write a blog about them. THESE are those sandwiches.
This page is a running timeline of The List, past, present, and future. It links to the posts we’ve done, and has projections of when future sandwiches will be covered. Since the nature of a Wikipedia page is to change, this list will most likely change as well. In fact, many of these sandwiches were not on The List when we started.
From time to time, we will modify this page. A particular month’s sandwiches should not be considered official until the roundup post on the 1st of each month.
As of June 11, 2015, we have begun noting discrepancies between the version of the List we started with and the one currently maintained on Wikipedia. Those discrepancies will be documented below.
As of December 2019, we realize we’ve completely lost track of noting when or why things have been added to the list and have removed those footnotes. After the initial run through the alphabet is done, we’ll do another run through both sandwiches that were added to the Wikipedia list after it was too late for us to schedule them in alphabetical order, and some additional sandwiches that aren’t on the Wikipedia list, that we’ve learned about along the way and decided to explore independently.
We completed our first run through the alphabet in April of 2020. As of December 2020, our second run through the alphabet is scheduled to go through May of 2022.

Please let us know what you think. And if there’s a sandwich that we should cover that isn’t anywhere on this page, let us know about it!
