The Canteen in Aberdeen: Pheasant Sandwiches

The vegetables provided plenty of crunch, and the sweet/sour of the pickle relish helped bring out the pleasantly assertive flavor of the pheasant. More mayo wouldn’t be unwelcome–but it would be unnecessary.

Fry Bread Is…

There isn’t really a wrong way to shape frybread. I’ve come to prefer the methods done by hand though. They are more prone to introducing imperfections in the bread’s shape, which are the best part.
