In February, the Tribunal will cover Japanese Pizza Toast, the Poor Boys of Illinoize, and New Jersey’s Pork Roll.
In January the Tribunal will be covering the Depression-era pickle sandwich, pig ear sandwiches, and everybody’s favorite use for Thanksgiving leftovers, the Pilgrim sandwich.
In December the Tribunal will be covering the unlikely Icelandic Pepperoni Taco sandwich, the unfortunate Philly Taco, and the (hopefully) uh-mazing Italian Piadina Romagnola.
I will never forgive Walla Walla Washington for this
In October the Tribunal will take on the Pakistani-American Club Sandwich, Peru’s Pan Con Chicharrón, and Salvadoran Panes Con Pavo
September will see the Tribunal covering frybread tacos, a Taiwanese savory stuffed donut, and a loaf of bread stuffed with fried shellfish.
In August we’ll be trying Midye Tava, Moo Yong sandwiches, and Murtabak. That is, if we can get to them before Chicago gets locked down again.
July’s sandwiches are Manhattans, Marmalade sandwiches, and sandwiches de Mezcla
In June we’ll be trying Korean Street Toast, Hungarian Lángos, and the Florentine street food Lampredotto.
Any excuse to hit a bunch of Polish delis is a good one. We’re looking forward to a May full of great sandwiches!
