November List sandwiches and October wrapup
Once again, in October, we only had 3 posts on sandwiches from the List, all by me, one of which could be considered analogous to a clip show. However, in our defense, the sandwiches we were covering ranged from boring to obscure to extremely difficult. Also, we may yet have a late entry coming for October from a new Tribunal contributor, so here’s hoping.
November is looking up though.
Deli sandwiches seem to be pretty universally available, so I’m hoping a couple of us might find something interesting to say about them. A Denver omelette in a sandwich sounds delicious. And Doner kebabs are the kind of thing we adore at the Tribunal and look forward to covering. So I’m hoping some of the old crew will reappear this month.
In terms of moves on the list, the “Pizza pocket” was added as a sandwich but the edit was quickly reverted. I’m in agreement here. A pizza pocket is a pastry or pie of some kind, baked with ingredients already in place rather than assembled like a sandwich. That’s how I see it anyway.
So what think you, Tribunal folks past, present, and future? Do you have something to say about any of our sandwiches this month? Do you think a pizza pocket should be considered a sandwich? Please let us know in the comments
The idea behind this site is to explore the nature of sandwichness by eating every sandwich on the Official en.wikipedia.org List of Sandwiches and then to post here about it, preferably with lots of pictures and also words. Sandwich words.
